Georgian Bay Amplification

Bio

Alan Small is a hobby builder who started making amplifiers and cabinets from scratch in Meaford, Ontario in 1991.
Simple 5F2A AND 5E3 designs were built on spec and later to order with steel chassis and pine cabinets: labelled Big Al with eminence blue alnico speakers these early amps are still on stages and in living rooms around Ontario.
Now in Collingwood the amps sport various 12" speakers and Hammond aluminum chassis and transformers; the designs are still simple models which include some early 50s PA and filmo design aspects which are so popular in todays market.
