Bio
I'm Russell Goudie, the founder of GoudieFX, and I've been an active guitar player and electronics enthusiast for over 20 years. I've been an experienced live musician playing in several local bands over the years and I've done several studio recording sessions. I was never fully satisfied with the sounds I was getting from my guitar pedals at the time (especially overdrive) so I started modding my pedals. I quickly realized that with some testing and research I could make my favourite pedals sound much better and customize them for my guitar/rig. My musician friends started asking me to build them what I was using and as word of mouth grew I started GoudieFX. From there the passion continued and I started designing my own overdrives.
