Tubesteader is a Montreal based workshop creating high-quality hand-built guitar preamps in a pedal format. The designs are based on the preamp section of the most thought-after tube amps. This results in a very close re-creation of their authentic sound.
While Tubesteader devices feel and sound much alike their classic origins, they also have quite a few distinctive features: a compact size, versatility in the audio chain, a standard wall-wart power input, fair price. And, of course, in the heart of a Tubesteader device, you will find the real vacuum tubes operating at the real high voltage.
